Tales from the Road, Part 2
I'm in the middle of Book Tour Mania. I've made so many new friends at each stop on this tour (and graduated to a new HHonors status—yay!). Beyond my expectations? Absolutely. I could write an entire book about this adventure, but I want to tell you about one very special event that's coming up.
On September 10th, I'm partnering with Hungry for Music—an organization that collects and distributes musical instruments to underserved children. Students who've benefitted from this program will start performing at noon and I'll read excerpts from The Goodbyes at 2 pm.
We're donating a portion of the day’s proceeds to this worthwhile cause. I'm so excited to pay my success forward!
